Find Health and Wellness Through Peptide Therapy

Peptides are short chains of amino acids, which are the building blocks of proteins in the body. They are crucial in various physiological processes, including cell signaling, tissue repair, and immune function. Peptides can be naturally produced in the body, or they can be synthesized in the laboratory. Peptide therapy involves using peptides to optimize bodily functions. We use peptides to stimulate the natural production of growth hormones and defy aging.

SERMORELIN CAN INCREASE GROWTH HORMONE LEVELS

At Fountain Of You MD, we offer Sermorelin in Virginia Beach – a highly effective peptide that optimizes your body’s natural potential for rejuvenation and vitality. It is a unique growth hormone releasing hormone that stimulates the release of natural growth hormones within your pituitary. Sermorelin naturally binds to the receptors for growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) in the brain, specifically within the pituitary gland, to induce the release of new growth hormones. Sermorelin can reverse the age-related loss of growth hormones. Sermorelin is equally effective for men and women. Studies have shown that it can increase growth hormone levels by 200-1000%, with continued improvements for up to 6 days after one session.

Tesamorelin

Tesamorelin, a synthetic form of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH), has shown promise in various clinical studies for its potential therapeutic benefits. One of its primary advantages is its ability to stimulate the body’s natural production of growth hormone, which plays a crucial role in maintaining muscle mass, reducing body fat, and enhancing overall metabolism. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals with growth hormone deficiency or those experiencing age-related declines in hormone levels. Tesamorelin has also been studied for its potential to improve bone density, cognitive function, and cardiovascular health. While further research is needed to fully understand its long-term effects and safety profile, Tesamorelin represents a promising avenue for addressing age-related hormonal imbalances and associated health concerns.

Tesamorelin and Sermorelin also carry certain risks and considerations. One primary concern is the possibility of side effects associated with increased growth hormone levels, such as joint pain, swelling, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Individuals with a history of cancer or other malignancies should not use Tesamorelin or Sermorelin due to the potential to stimulate tumor growth. As with any hormone therapy, careful monitoring by a healthcare professional is essential to mitigate risks and ensure optimal safety and efficacy. Don’t hesitate to call to learn about the risks and benefits of Tesamorelin or Sermorelin in Virginia Beach today!

GONADORELIN AND HCG

We generally prescribe gonadorelin or hCG for men who are on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) and who don’t want to experience further gradual testicular shrinkage and decreased testicular functional capacity while they’re on TRT than they’re already experiencing.

Both hCG and Gonadorelin help increase sperm count and volume in men and increase testosterone production. It also helps with testicular atrophy, otherwise known as testicular shrinkage. Bremelanotide or PT-141 for low libido also known as HSDD( hypo-sexual desire disorder)

Treating Low Libido with Bremalanotide

Sold under the brand name “Vyleesi” *, Bremelanotide can be taken when you need it, at least 45 minutes before sex, but it needs to be injected under the skin. It works on receptors in your central nervous system to affect your behavior. It is not well understood exactly how it works on libido, but is one of only two drugs, approved by the FDA, for low libido in women.

The most common side effect is nausea which can occur in up to 40%, especially with the first dose. Flushing of the skin is also very common and also dissipates with time. The side effects usually get better, as your body gets used to the medication.

Bremelanotide, also known as PT-141, is one of only two medications approved for low sex drive in women. It is not for low sexual desire caused by a medical or mental health condition, relationship problems, or side effects from another medication or substance. Nausea is a common side effect, especially when you take your first dose.

BPC-157 FOR RECOVERY

BPC-157 is a peptide derived from a protein found in the stomach and has garnered attention for its potential therapeutic benefits. Studies suggest that BPC-157 may have a range of positive effects on the body, including promoting tissue repair and regeneration. It has been shown to accelerate the healing process of various injuries, including tendon, ligament, and muscle injuries, making it a valuable tool for athletes and individuals recovering from sports-related injuries or surgeries. Additionally, BPC-157 has demonstrated anti-inflammatory properties, which could contribute to its ability to alleviate pain and reduce swelling associated with tissue damage.

Furthermore, BPC-157 may have gastrointestinal benefits, as it has been studied for its potential to protect and repair the lining of the digestive tract. This could be particularly beneficial for individuals suffering from conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), leaky gut syndrome, or gastritis. By promoting the healing of gastrointestinal tissues and reducing inflammation, BPC-157 may help improve digestive health and alleviate symptoms associated with these conditions, such as abdominal pain, diarrhea, and bloating.

Moreover, emerging research suggests that BPC-157 may have neuroprotective effects, potentially offering benefits for neurological conditions and brain health. Some studies have indicated that BPC-157 may protect neurons from damage, enhance nerve regeneration, and improve cognitive function. These findings raise the possibility that BPC-157 could be explored as a therapeutic agent for neurological disorders such as Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, and traumatic brain injury. While further research is needed to fully elucidate its mechanisms of action and therapeutic potential, BPC-157 presents promising prospects for addressing a variety of health concerns.

While BPC-157 shows promise as a therapeutic agent, particularly for tissue repair and gastrointestinal health, its safety profile and potential risks have not been fully elucidated. Limited human clinical trials and long-term studies mean that the full extent of its side effects and interactions with other medications is not well understood. Some animal studies have suggested potential adverse effects, such as alterations in blood pressure, heart rate, and kidney function at high doses. Thus, caution should be exercised when using BPC-157, and individuals should consult with a healthcare professional before beginning supplementation, especially those with underlying medical conditions or who are taking other medications.
